Catawba Sail & Power Squadron is a non-profit organization and a unit of the U.S. Power Squadrons dedicated to educating boaters on basic safe boating procedures, teaching elective courses for members, raising awareness of water safety issues, and offering free vessel safety checks and opportunities for socialization to area boaters. We also keep boaters up-to-date on changing laws regarding recreational boating and boating safety requirements (See our Blog for updates on these important issues.)

Our activities include such things as raft-ups and rendezvous with other US Power Squadron® units, cook-outs and picnics, dinner meetings, attending district and state Power Squadron conferences, award programs, community service projects, and organizing co-op charting cruises
