Each year, District 27 presents two Squadrons from our District with awards for the highest educational achievements.
The Tom Smiley Award is the 1st Place Award; and the Howard Greene Bent Prop Award is the 2nd Place Award.

The total points are divided by the number of Squadron members to arrive at a point ratio. The Squadron with the highest point ratio receives the award.
